The Impatient Chef Cocktail Recipe: The Hooguztamoose

It would be hard to make this one outside of the Pacific Northwest, but not impossible since we do have the internet.  If you can, use these exact spirits.  The hardest one to get will be the rum, but it’s also the one you can more easily substitute.  Get a barrel aged rum, not a spiced rum.  Spiced rums in this cocktail won’t make you happy.

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup

  • 3/4 oz New Deal Ginger Liqueur
  • 1/4 oz Clear Creek Pear Brandy

Shake with ice, and serve in a frosted cocktail glass.
